Carnival of Mathematics #18

The 18th Carnival of Mathematics is up on JD2718 and Jonathan was kind enough to invite another submission from me. I oblidged with my post on the Order 8a magic star puzzle, only to today realise that it was already included in the 2nd carnival! Ooops! Perhaps with the algorithm update mentioned in the comments, it was worth revisiting...

Anyway, enjoy the latest carnival. If you recognise the pattern in the numbers in Jonathan's blog name, you're probably one of those that will enjoy the carnival. I'm yet to work my way through the menu, but there does appear to be some tasty morsels there.
